Man who beat, robbed 71-year-old man in Harlem sought by police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Surveilance footage was released by police on Thursday of a man they say attacked and robbed a 71-year-old man in Harlem. 

Police say on Nov. 22, at about 1:40 p.m, the suspect entered the building lobby at West 133rd Street as the 71-year-old victim was attempting to go to his apartment.

The suspect approached the victim and punched him multiple times in the face, causing him to fall down the stairs, officials say.

According to police, the suspect then removed the victim's wallet and fled the location with $160 and credit cards.

EMS treated the victim for lacerations at the scene.
