Man wanted in Central Park robbery

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) The NYPD are searching for a man in connection with a robbery that occurred in Central Park.

The incident occurred on Friday, May 31 at about 10:15 a.m.

A 67-year-old male victim was sitting on a bench when an unidentified male approached him and proceeding to punch and shove the victim.

The victim, afraid, abandoned the bench, leaving his belongings.

The unidentified male left with the victim’s tote bag, containing his iPhone.

The victim was uninjured.

The male wanted for questioning is described as black in his late teens or early twenties, last seen with a powder blue hooded shirt on.
