Man sought for robbing, beating Bronx gas station clerk, 55, twice

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man wanted in connection to two robberies in the North Riverdale section of the Bronx.

On November 8, at 2:44 a.m., police say the suspect approached a 55-year-old male inside of Citgo Gas Station at 6571 Broadway, while holding a pair of scissors and punched him multiple times in the face.

Police say the suspect proceeded to remove the cash drawer containing $400 and fled in an unknown direction. 

The victim did not suffer any serious injuries, officials say.

According to police, the suspect struck again on Thursday, November 14, at 6 a.m., at the same location, while in possession of scissors.

The suspect approached the same employee, punched him in the face and removed $1,600, officials say.

The suspect fled the and victim was not seriously injured.
