VIDEO: Man accused of slashing man in face at Manhattan subway station sought by NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Tuesday released video of  a man they say slashed another man in the face at the Penn Station subway station early Monday morning.

Officials say at 1:30 a.m., a 41-year-old man was standing near the turnstile area of the 34th Street subway station when he became involved in a verbal dispute with the suspect .

During the dispute, the suspect brandished a cutting instrument and slashed the victim in the face and neck while on the northbound 1 train subway station platform.

The suspect fled the subway station on foot.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition and treated for non-life threatening lacerations.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
