Man pretends to have gun, robs Queens deli: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man in connection to a robbery in the Long Island City section of Queens.

On Nov. 20, at approximately 6:10 p.m., police say the suspect entered a deli , located at 35-14 28 Avenue and went behind the counter and demanded money from a 48-year-old store employee while simulating a firearm in his jacket pocket.

The susupect managed to take $750 before fleeing westbound on 28th Avenue, police say.
