Man leaving debris on subway tracks creating extremely hazardous conditions

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is looking for a suspect wanted for placing debris on subway tracks, creating extremely hazardous conditions.

They say a man left items on the rails including a fire extinguisher, a bag of concrete, a shovel and a string of Christmas tree lights.

The first incident, on May 9, was on the northbound rails of the D train inside the Atlantic Avenue – Barclays Center station.

There were two more incidents June 5 on the R train in Park Slope and Sunset Park and again on June 9 on the N train in Gowanus.

There was no damage to the trains or injuries reported.

The NYPD has released surveillance footage of the man in hopes they public can help identify him.
