Police: Man found stabbed to death in Washington Heights

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was found stabbed to death in Washington Heights early Saturday, police confirmed.

The 35-year-old man was found near West 176th Street and Haven Ave, about a block away from the entrance to the George Washington Bridge.

Police said the man had been stabbed multiple times and was not carrying an I.D. card.

It’s unclear if the man had been dropped at the location or was attacked at the scene.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately released.

Investigators are searching for surveillance video that may reveal what happened.
