NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man wanted for inappropriately touching a boy, 9, Monday morning on a southbound A train in lower Manhattan, has been captured, police announced Wednesday afternoon.

The man "leaned over and rubbed" the victim's thigh three times, police initially said in a news release.

"When the victim's 20-year-old sister became aware of what transpired she yelled at the individual," police added. "When the train arrived at the 14 Street station, the victim's sister alerted the train's conductor about the incident; the individual exited the train and fled farther into the station in an unknown direction.

The individual is described as a Hispanic male, 30- to 40-years-old, with a salt-and-pepper goatee. He was last seen wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
