Man attacks and chokes victim during Queens robbery

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a suspect who attacked and choked a store owner as part of a robbery in Queens.

The incident occurred on Saturday, June 15 at around 7:22 a.m. at 98-51 63rd Road in Rego Pakr.

The suspect choked and dragged the 21-year-old male victim to the floor.

A second man who has been arrested and charged took $2,200 from the register and both perpetrators fled.

The victim also suffered stab wounds and was transferred to New York Presbyterian Hospital Queens in stable condition.
