NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Suffolk County Police say a Centereach man attempted to sell crack from an elementary school playground while accompanied by his 2-year-old daughter.

At approximately 4 p.m. on Wednesday, police officials arrested Chaleek Williams, 25, on the playground at Oxhead Road Elementary School.

At the time of his arrest, Williams was with his daughter police said.

Officials say Williams became combative when they tried to arrest him, and had to be restrained.

In addition to the crack, he was also in possession of MDMA, according to police.

Williams now faces several charges that include both criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child.

His daughter was released into the custody of family.
