Man accused of raping 13-year-old girl in Brooklyn sought by NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man in connection to the rape of a 13-year-old girl in Brooklyn.

Officials say on Friday, November 1, at approximately 11:30 p.m., the teen girl met with the suspect while walking to a friend's house in Canarsie.

The two engaged in conversation and walked to a residence near East 102 Street and Avenue M, where the female was sexually assaulted, according to police.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, where she was treated and then released.

Police describe the suspect as 20-25 year-old Black male, 5'10" tall, weighing approximately 165 pounds, with a thin build, long dreadlocks and a goatee.
