NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Louis C.K. is back on stage.

The comedian returned to stand-up Monday night at the Comedy Cellar. It's the first time he's performed publicly since admitting to sexual misconduct last November.

Louis was a regular at the Cellar, but stepped out of the public eye after admitting that he masturbated in front of women.

The New York Times reports, Louis went up around 11 p.m. and did a 15 minute set without addressing the scandal. The Comedy Cellar crowd greeted him with an ovation.

Louis lost a production deal with FX, had his specials removed from Netflix, and had his ties with HBO cut after claims from five women led to an admission.
