NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A new week, a new blackface scandal.

This time, it involves Katy Perry.

The singer's shoe collection includes designs that resemble blackface, but in an atttempt to get ahead of any looming controversey, the shoes have been pulled from stores, TMZ reported Monday.

The loafer version of the shoe is called the "Rue Face Slip On Loafers," while the high-heeled version is called the "Ora Face Block Heel Sandal."

The shoes come in black and beige, but it's the black shoe -- with it's oversized red lips -- that's drawn comparisons to black face.

A source told TMZ, ""In order to be respectful and sensitive the team is in the process of pulling the shoes."
