NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg turned up in her hometown of New York on Saturday, talking about a nasty fall she had in November that fractured three of her ribs.

It’s been just a month since the 85-year-old Supreme Court judge fell and was briefly hospitalized, but she continues to live up to her nickname: the Notorious RBG.

“How’s your health?” NPR's Nina Totenberg asked her at an event at the Museum of the City of New York on Saturday.

“I’m fine, thank you,” she said.

“And also those ribs you busted?”

“Almost repaired,” Ginsburg answered.

The justice told Totenberg and the crowd that despite her busted ribs, she was back at her trainer the very next week.

Ginsburg is in a new documentary, “On the Basis of Sex,” in theaters on Dec. 25. It explores her early legal battles for women’s rights.
