Jury Delivers Guilty Verdict Four Years After Brutal Brooklyn Murder

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- There is finally a guilty verdict in the inexplicable murder of a child in an elevator in Brooklyn almost 4 years ago.

Justice was delayed, but at least it was not denied.

Aricka McClinton -- the mother of 6-year-old PJ Avitto -- spoke after the jury convicted 31-year-old Daniel St. Hubert, after the jury delivered the guilty verdict.

"God is good, we got a guilty verdict. PJ can now rest in peace, Mikayla can now live her life to the fullest as best she can," McClinton said.

Capers survived her many stab wounds and testified about how 'the bad man' followed her and PJ into an elevator and began stabbing them over and over again, leaving her best friend to die in a bunch of blood.
