Homeless Man Faces Charges For Allegedly Sucker-Punching 5-Year-Old Boy On G-Train

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A homeless man is facing charges for allegedly sucker-punching a 5-year-old boy on a Brooklyn subway train last month.

Ramon Thomas, 25, allegedly attacked the child on a G-Train as it approached Cobble Hill, socking him in the face and then asking the little boy, "are you going to cry to ya mommy?"

Police quickly found Thomas after the alleged attack but he checked hinmself into a psychiatric ward at Jacobi Medical Center. He eventually got out and was nabbed by police Thursday at a Dunkin Donuts on Coney Island.

Thomas was arrested and charged with assault.
