NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a hedge fund manager they say violently beat a man outside of his Lower East Side building.

Officials say on Jan. 26, Eric Delamarter struck a man in the head with a metal object and then slammed his head against the lobby door.

According to the 34-year-old victim, he came home around 3 a.m. after bar hopping and had lost his keys. He rang all the buzzers in hopes that he would be buzzed in by someone.

That’s when he says Delamarter allegedly came down and attacked him, causing a large laceration above his eye.
