NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Harvey Weinstein has reached a deal to settle a number of civil lawsuits for sexual misconduct.

His attorneys have told a bankruptcy judge in Delaware that they have a deal for $44 million, to be paid by Weinstein’s insurance policies.

Fourteen million would cover legal fees to Weinstein associates named as defendants.

The rest would be divided among the alleged victims, creditors and former employees, including the New York attorney general’s office.

The settlement would have nothing to do with the pending criminal cases against Weinstein,.

In one, he’s charged with rape.
