VIDEO: Gunman opens fire in drive-by shooting on Brooklyn street, striking cyclist

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Friday released a video of a gunman as he fired off several rounds in a drive-by shooting earlier this week in Brooklyn, striking a 50-year-old bicyclist.

The incident occurred on Tuesday shortly before 1 a.m., in Boerum Hill, according to officials.

As the white car drove down Baltic Avenue near 3rd Avenue, the video shows the gunman is seen hanging out of the window while firing four rounds.

The victim was riding a bicycle in the courtyard of NYCHA’s Wyckoff apartments when he was struck in the left shoulder and back, officials said.

One parked and unoccupied vehicle in the area sustained a bullet hole to its windshield and another parked and unoccupied vehicle in the vicinity of the incident sustained a bullet hole to its hood police said. 

He was treated at Methodist Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
