NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- NYPD detectives are searching for a group of men in connection to an attempted burglary. Officials say the suspects attempted to enter apartments in the same Bronx building weeks apart.

Police say the suspects first attempted to gain entry into an apartment located on Newbold Avenue and Olmstead Avenue, on Thursday, November 28, at approximately 11 p.m., but were unsuccessful and fled the location without any property.

On December 12, around 10:40 p.m., officials say the suspects climbed a fire escape before attempting to open a locked apartment window with pry bars.

The suspects were unsuccessful and fled the location without any property.

Police released surveillance video of the men Sunday night, obtained from the location of the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-8477.
