NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A crowd of about a dozen people were seen on Twitter lifting an SUV on Sunday on the Lower East Side, in order to rescue a woman trapped under after being run over.

The incident occurred on the corner of Delancey and Norfolk Streets and people can be seen swaying the vehicle until it's tilted enought to pull the pedestrian out.

According to an FDNY spokesman said the agency received a trauma call at 5:10 p.m. and that one person was transported to Bellevue Hospital.

A photo also posted on Twitter shows the victim using her phone while on the ground as FDNY officials crowd around her.

The victim's condition remains unclear.
