Grimm Denies Being Behind Ethics Complaint Against Staten Island Congressman

April 03, 2018 - 8:24 am

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Congressman Dan Donovan from Staten Island is the subject of an ethics complaint accusing him of intervening to get the son of his girlfriend a desk appearance ticket for a heroin arrest.

Donovan denied any involvement in the case, and while he's not accusing primary challenger and former Congressman Michael Grimm of making the complaint, he did say the average person would probably need some help figuring out how to file a complaint with the congressional ethics office.

Grimm denied being behind the complaint and told the Staten Island Advance that Donovan is playing a desperate blame game.
