Giuliani Says IG’s Report Shows Evidence Of FBI Corruption

June 16, 2018 - 10:53 am

WASHINGTON (1010 WINS) -- Everybody is cherrypicking the inspector general's report.

Both President Donald Trump and his critics are finding what they want to see in a 500 page justice department watchdog report on the clinton e-mail probe.

The report -- which took more than a year -- criticized the bureau and former director James Comey, but did not find any evidence of political bias in the investigation ahead of the 2016 election.

Despite that, President Trump says the report showed the most biased set of circumstances he's ever seen and his lawyer Rudy Giuliani said he found evidence of corruption.

"My biggest suprise in that report, how numerous FBI agents took bribes in order to give up confidential information to the people in the media; sports tickets, dinners, vacations, and I don't know, maybe even cash," Giuliani said.

The report stopped short of supporting allegations of political bias influencing the investigation.
