Giuliani Gets Bronx Cheer At Yankee Stadium

May 28, 2018 - 7:42 pm

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani got a proverbial Bronx cheer at Yankee Stadium Monday.

Yankees fans let the former mayor have it when the PA announcer wished the current personal attorney for President Donald Trump a happy 74th birthday.

Fans were already in a bad mood. The Yankees lost the game 5-1 to the Houston Astros.

Giuliani, 73, served as mayor from 1994 through 2001, and as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York from 1983 until 1989.

Most recently, he has been serving as an attorney on the legal team for President Trump amid Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe.
