NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Rain, snow and ice will continue to track across the Northeast Tuesday, leading to a messy commute for millions.

Freezing rain during the morning commute will make untreated roads slippery, reduce visibility and cause travel delays.

It will rain in the city and nearby suburbs, with a wintry mix continuing well inland. High 38.

Expect an occasional rain and drizzle during the day before it clears out by Tuesday night.

Tuesday night will be clear with a low of 30.

It will be cold and dry rest of the week.
