A deadly fire in Union City has claimed the life of a fourth child.

Deadly Union City Fire Claims Fourth Child's Life

UNION CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A fourth child -- A 13-year-old boy -- has died from injuries he got during a fire in Union City on Friday night.

A 5-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl died at the scene, and a 7-year-old died a little while later at the hospital.

The fire broke out in a multi-family home on 25th Street in Union City. Eight firefighters were treated at hospitals for smoke inhalation and heat related issues.

The Red Cross has been helping 30 people from eight families.

There's been no word on the cause.
