NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police say a man flashed two boys on a Brooklyn street Friday evening, and now authorities are asking for the public’s help in catching the perv.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect Sunday. They say it was taken near the scene of the flashing.

The boys, ages 11 and 8, were near Vista Place and 68th Street in Bay Ridge around 6:15 p.m. Friday when a well-dressed man came up and exposed himself, police say.

“Oh my God, that’s really terrible,” Regina told 1010 WINS' Roger Stern. “There’s a lot of families around here.”

William was also surprised to hear there’s a flasher on the loose in Bay Ridge.

“I never heard of it around here,” he said. “It’s a pretty safe, secure neighborhood. I’ve raised my daughter here for eight years and never had anything.”

The boys were not physically harmed in the incident.

Police believe the suspect is in his 20s. If found, he faces a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
