NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A father wanted by police for questioning into the brutal beating of his 1-year-old twins has died after he jumped to his death from the top of a Midtown hotel, the NYPD confirmed.

Mohammad Torabi jumped from the Renaissance New York Hotel 57 on East 57th Street at around 1:30 p.m. Saturday. He crashed into a third-floor landing.

His death came three days after police arrived at his Queen’s home where one twin was found fatally injured and the other was still fighting for his life.

Torabi’s wife, Tina, was arrested in connection with the beating. Though, Torabi had a history of domestic violence and was wanted for questioning.

Police said there was no suicide note left behind.

Torabi’s three other children — ages 2, 4 and 5 years old — showed signs of malnourishment when police found them inside the home.
