CBS 2 reports, he was denied bail after prosecutors said there was evidence that he had been involved in a number of violent acts over the last eight months as part of a violent gang. They added that his worldwide connections, access to cash, and the possibility of a life sentence made the rapper a threat to flee the country.

The page 'Break 6ix9ine outof jail' has over 13,000 followers.

Tekashi69 has publicly identified himself as part of the 9 Trey Bloods, and is accused of taking part in a July shooting, and an amred robbery.

The rapper has a lengthy rap sheet which includes probation for a sexually explicit video of a 13-year-old girl, disorderly conduct stemming from a May traffic stop, and an arrest on an outstanding warrant in Texas.

The Facebook page lists Dec. 12 as the day to bust Tekashi out of jail, but most posts are from fans sharing support from the rapper.
