NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Prosecutors on Long Island say 34-year-old NYPD officer Valerie Cincinelli gave her boyfriend $7,000 to hire a hit man to kill her estranged husband Isaiah Carvalho Jr.

Carvallo spoke with ABC News' T.J. Holmes in an interview that aired Wednesday on "Good Morning America."

“Do you believe your wife wanted you murdered?” Holmes asked.

“I can’t believe. I’m still in shock,” Carvahlo Jr. said.

When asked if it was possible they got it wrong, and she’s innocent, he added, “I really don't I really don't know. I don't want to believe it. But apparently it's true.”

The 32-year-old filed for divorce in January.

The boyfriend went to the FBI leading to Cincinelli getting arrested and suspended without pay as she stays in prison.
