WEST MILFORD, NJ (1010 WINS) -- Being a Jets fan can be a stressful experience. It seems one man was so affected, that it caused him to drink and drive.

Christopher Greyshock, 57, told cops that the reason he had been drinking so much was because the 'Jets suck,' reports.

Cops were called to the scene of an accident at Alps Road and Route 23, at 5:15 p.m. Sunday. When cops showed up, they found EMTs taking care of two people.

Cops say Greyshock was unable to walk straight and almost fell onto the highway, and admitted to hitting a car that was stopped in traffic.

Greyshock was arrested after failing a field sobriety test, police say. Authorities say they smelled alcohol on his breath, he had liquid stains on his pants, and a search of his car turned up whiskey, marijuana, and rolling papers.

Greyshock has been charged with assault by auto, marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession, DWI, reckless driving, and driving with an open container.
