Off-duty correction officer killed in apparent road rage incident

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An off-duty correction officer was killed early Friday morning, in what may have been a road rage incident.

It happened just before 2 a.m. on 103rd Ave and 120th Street in South Richmond Hill, Queens. The 27-year-old got into some kind of dispute with a man on a motorcycle and was shot in the head.

The biker sped off, the victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made.
