Driver Faces DWI Charge After Multi-Vehicle Flatbush Crash

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two people were hanging on in critical condition, and one man was facing DWI charges after a nasty, multi-vehicle crash in Brooklyn.

Shattered glass and debris still littered the sidewalk where a car jumped the curb in a three car crash Friday night in Flatbush, injuring 13 people.

"This guy was trying to beat the light and then some guy from right here was trying to turn and then they both crashed," Daniel told CBS2.

The drivers suffered minor injuries along with two passengers, and four people on the busy sidewalk at Flatbush and Farragut Road were also injured. Among the two critically injured is a 16-year-old, all are expected to survive.
