Bernhard Graumann, 59, was found dead in his western Germany home on Friday. He was discovered just hours after an explosion caused by an apparent booby trap killed a 64-year-old doctor outside of his practice, police say.

That wasn't the end of it.

Days later, a mother and daughter were injured when a log exploded in a wood burning stove. Police say the log appeared to be tampered with. The younger woman remains in critical condition.

Police say they discovered gunpowder and other items of interest during a search of Graumann's home.

Graumann was believed to have had bad relationships with the victims and cops are warning others who may have had run-ins with Graumann to be on guard.
