NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in Lower Manhattan on Wednesday morning, a day after three cyclists were hit in the span of a few hours.

The incident happened at about 10:30 a.m near Whitehall Street and Water Street.

The victim was transported to Bellebvue Hospital where he was treated for a laceration to the face, reports say.

It is not yet known if a summons was issued to the driver.

On Tuesday, one cyclist was hit by an MTA bus in Midtown, another was stuck under a fire truck in Brooklyn, and a car hit a rider making a turn in the Upper East Side.

This year has seen 19 bike riders die in accidents so far, more than double the total of 2018, with the latest death occurring in Brooklyn on Sunday.
