NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police want to question a man who they say placed a swastika sticker on at least one subway train in Manhattan.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect on Sunday.

Police say he was spotted placing a swastika sticker on a southbound No. 6 train at the Bleecker Street station earlier this month.

The 40-something-year-old man left after putting the sticker on the train, according to police, who said he’s wanted for aggravated harassment.

The incident comes amid rising hate crimes in the city, with Jews the most targeted group, according to the NYPD.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
