TAPPAN, NY (1010 WINS) -- Police and the FBI were swarming outside of a home in upstate Tappan on Wednesday, to make an arrest over alleged threats against someone or something in Washington D.C.

Details were scarce, but LoHud reports the arrest was taking place on Slocum Ave off of Washington Ave.

Cops had the dead end blocked off, as rubberneckers craned to see what was going on.

"Are you shooting a movie?" one woman asked.

Orangetown Police Detective Sgt. Thomas Holihan said residents would not be permitted in or out of the street while it's shut down.
