NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- There were frantic moments Friday, after cops responded to an emergency call in East Harlem.

The 911 call came in a little after 11 a.m. It brought officers to the Wagner Houses, where Tanaya Davis -- only 5-months-old -- was found unconscious.

"I see it from my window, and they were like compressing, compressing, like five on this side, and five on the other side. They were just rushing her into the ambulance. I didn't see what happened, I didn't know if it was a baby or a huge person or whatever. I didn't see no feet, it was so tiny," Linda said.

Davis was taken to Harlem Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Sources told 1010 WINS she had been left in the care of her father, and two brothers ages 17 and 8. Her mother returned home to find her unconscious and bleeding from the nose.
