NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Cops are looking for a man they claim has been trying to kidnap little boys in Brooklyn.

They say the man targeted two boys in two separate incidents.

On May 7, he approached a 10-year-old boy as he walked home from school in Boro Park, and asked him if he wanted ice cream. When the boy refused, the man grabbed him. The child was released after he tried to bite the man.

Two days later, another 10-year-old boy was approached while walking home from school in Sunset Park. The man grabbed the boy's arm, but the child kicked him and the man took off.

Residents were appalled to hear what happened.

"Horrible. I didn't think it was going to happen in this neighborhood, but I guess it could happen anywhere," one woman said. "I have two kids of my own, as a parent it's really traumatizing."

The man has been described as a Asia, 5'9", 180 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black jacket with white sleeves, a multi-colored shirt, dark jeans, and brown sandals.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
