NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Bronx detectives are searching for a guy who was clearly very hangry.

The man attacked two McDonald’s workers at the University Avenue restaurant in Morris Heights on the morning of Jan. 11, police say.

When employees told him they were not open yet, he went crazy, hitting a 20-year-old woman with a deep-fryer basket and punching a 21-year-old woman in the face, according to police.

He then allegedly stole some store keys and took off on foot.

The 20-year-old worker had to be taken to Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition. The 21-year-old worker refused medical attention.

Authorities released images of the suspect Saturday.

The incident happened just days before police say a baseball bat-wielding woman decimated a Bronx eatery because they were out of beef patties.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
