Cops Looking For Women Who Robbed Cabbie In The Bronx

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking for three women in connection to the assault and robbery of a cab driver in the Bronx.

A video of the women they want to question about the June 11 incident was released Saturday.

Cops say the driver picked up the three women in Lower Manhattan and dropped off one in the Mott Haven area of the Bronx. He continued to drive the others to Williamsbridge.

Police said that when the women attempted to leave the cab without paying, the driver confronted them. They reportedly attacked him by punching, kicking and shoving him causing scratches, bruising and swelling under his eye.

They also took $120 in cash from the victim before running away, according to authorities.
