An officer in a squad car was keeping watch over the building where the two people were found dead on 37th Ave. Cops have identified a person of interest, but so far no one has been arrested.

The victims are a 67-year-old man and a 64-year-old female. They were found stabbed in the chest in different parts of the apartment.

A downstairs neighbor said he frequently heard the couple arguing.

"It's very scary, I wouldn't expect that on this block," one woman said.

Others have said that they regularly see people who seem drunk going in and out of the building.
