The man is facing assault and battery charges after allegedly attacking neighbors with a machete bearing the word 'kindness.'

Neighbors say they heard Bryan Duane Stewart, 30, making a bunch of noise and announcing that he was going to 'kill em with kindness.'

When a neighbor went to check on Stewart and him to keep the noise down, he says Stewart ran out the front door wielding the machete. A second neighbor intervened and was cut on the hand, Santa Rosa County deputies said.

According to an arrest report, Stewart wasn't sure what was going on, had alcohol on his breath, and bloodshot, watery eyes. Deputies sy Stewart repeatedly banged his head and kicked inside the patrol car.

He was charged with aggravted battery with a deadly weapon and aggravted assault with a deadly weapon, WFLA reports.
