June 02, 2018 - 3:25 pm

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Cops believe the death of a 33-year-old Brooklyn man might be linked to K2.

William Minion was rushed to Brooklyn University Hospital after he was found unconscious inside his Putnam Ave apartment early Saturday morning. He died at the hospital.

An autopsy has not been performed, but cops did find several packages of K2 -- a synthetic drug -- in his apartment.

Police have been investigating a rash of 240 K2-related overdoses since 25 people were found incoherent in Brooklyn.

There have been 74 arrests, and more than 1,000 packages of K2 have been seized since a crackdown on the drug began.
