Chinese Space Station Could Make Easter Arrival In New Jersey

FORT LEE, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A Chinese space station has reached its expiration date, and is expected to come crashing back to earth this week.

Some of the debris is expected to rain down on China, but some could hit a little closer to home. John and Abe said they hope that doesn't mean Fort Lee.

"Hopefully it doesn't hit anybody's house or kill anybody," John said.

"I hope to god nothing happens and nobody gets hurt," Abe added.

Barry is more worried about Barry.

"I assume given past experiences that I won't be anywhere in the vicinity when it falls," he said.

Tiangong-1 has been orbiting uncontrolled since at least June of 2016. It could return to Earth on Easter Sunday.
