NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- You may not want to bite into the Chewy Chips Ahoy sitting in your pantry.

The company that makes the cookies is warning consumers that some packages are being involuntarily recalled.

Mondelez Golbal LLC, the company that makes the cookies, said the recall was due to "an unexpected solidified ingredient" that may be inside some 13 oz packages.

"Consumers who have this product should not eat it," the recall notice said.

Mondelez did not elaborate on what the health effects or the ingredient may be.

The packages are marked with UPC number 0 44000 03223 4 and the "use by" dates of 07SEP2019, 08SEP2019, 14SEP2019 and 15SEP2019.

Mondelez also owns Oreo, Cadbury, and Toblerone.
