Brooklyn teen arrested in anti-Semitic egg attacks

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested a teen in connection with multiple anti-Semitic egg throwing assaults.

Mohib Hoque, 18, was arrested late Wednesday and faces numerous hate crime charges for allegedly throwing and egg at a a 38-year-old woman as she walked down 38th Street and for also allegedly throwing an egg at a synagogue in Brooklyn.


Hoque was charged with three counts of hate crime assault, three counts of hate crime aggravated harassment, three counts of hate crime harassment and hate crime reckless endangerment, according to police.

No one was injured in the incidents, police said.
