NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Local rapper Nick Blixky was found fatally shot on a Brooklyn street Sunday night, police said.

At approximately 9:30 p.m.,  officials responded to a call of a male shot in front of 200 Winthrop Street near the intersection of Winthrop Street and Rogers Avenue in the Prospect Leffert Gardens area.

Upon arrival, police discovered an unconscious and unresponsive man, with gunshot wounds to his torso and buttocks.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead.

He was later identified as 21-year-old Nickalus Thompson, a local musician.

No arrests have been made and an investigation remains ongoing.
