April 06, 2018 - 8:19 am

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Cops in Brooklyn would like some help catching a couple of robbers who seem to be specializing in gas stations, although they're not above holding up a bodega.

There were four robberies in all -- three gas stations and a gorcery store -- the two thugs made off with $2,200 in cash. The spree started on Saturday and continued until Tuesday.

The most recent heist took place in the Midwood section of Brooklyn, which one woman described as a safe area.

"I didn't think it would happen in this area," she said.

The other robberies took place in Bensonhurst, Bath Beach, and the Ditmars section of Queens.

In some cases workers were threatened or roughed up.

Cops are looking for two Hispanic men, 5'5", 175-lbs, and last seen wearing all black.
