NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The dean of a Bronx charter high school has been accused of raping a 15-year-old student, officials say.

Police say 34-year-old Grace Trinidad, Dean of dicipline at New Visions Advanced Math and Science High School was arrested shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday.

According to authorities, Trinidad befriended the teen and repeatedly invited him to her home in the South Bronx, engaging in intercourse with the teen on Aug. 31.

Police say the alleged incident was reported to authorities Monday.

Trinidad is facing charges of rape in the third degree for having sex with a minor, engaging in a criminal sex act and endangering the welfare of a child.

The Daily News reports that Trinidad’s neighbors said she shares her apartment with two daughters, who one neighbor estimated are fourth- and sixth-graders.
